Invisalign treatment uses a series of virtually invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners made with computer imaging technology via iTero scan. Treatment takes between six to twelve months or more, depending on your personal case.
Each set of aligners is worn for about two weeks, removed only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. You will visit the office once every six weeks to monitor how your case is progressing.
-
Whitening treatment is a take home method. Using your iTero scan, custom trays are made to fit to your mouth. Over the course of your treatment, you’ll use the provided whitening gel in your trays to bleach your teeth. Results typically show after 2 weeks with a ½ hour usage each day.

A crown treatment plan takes place over the course of two visits.
In the first visit, the tooth that is going to be crowned will be examined and prepared. X-rays may be taken to examine the tooth and surrounding bone. The doctor may also recommend a root canal treatment prior to the crown procedure if there are signs of decay, infection, or damage to the tooth.
An impression and scan will be taken of the your mouth in the area that is being treated, then the tooth will be filed down. The tooth is then fitted with a temporary crown.
The scan is sent to the laboratory, and a permanent crown takes approximately two to three weeks to be sent to our office. Upon receiving your crown, you will be called to schedule your appointment to cement the crown into your mouth. In the second visit, your permanent crown is cemented in and any adjustments for the wear and bite will be made.

A root canal treatment typically takes one visit, though some cases may require two visits. A visit for a root canal procedure takes approximately 60-90 minutes.
A root canal procedure is prescribed as treatment for sensitivity in the tooth (ie. when exposed to cold or hot temperatures), severe pain, swollen gums, or an untreated cavity. Trauma to the tooth such as a crack or chip may also call for a root canal.
During your visit, the doctor will examine the tooth and numb the area that is going to be worked on. Prior to opening the tooth up, an x-ray will be taken to assess the tooth and bone level. Once the tooth is numb, the doctor will make a small hole in the tooth so the pulp (innermost layer of the tooth) is accessible. Small instruments are then used to clean out the pulp and shape the root canals for filling. After the tooth has been cleaned out, the canals are filled and sealed. Throughout this process, a series of x-rays are taken for the doctor to ensure that the canals are properly cleaned out and filled.
It is strongly recommended to follow up once the root canal is complete to begin the crown process. In most root canal procedures, placing a crown on the treated tooth reinforces the tooth and provides extra protection against cracks, fractures, and so on.

Implant surgery takes place over the course of several months and visits. On the initial consult, the doctor will examine your mouth to determine if there is adequate space and bone available for an implant. In some cases, it is possible to graft additional synthetic bone material in to support the implant. An iTero scan will be taken of your mouth as a digital impression to be used to create your artificial teeth. Traditional impression methods may also be utilized depending on your case’s needs.
If the implant is replacing an existing tooth, the tooth will be extracted first and the site given time to heal. Once the extraction has healed, your next visit will entail placing the implant into your jawbone. The healing process and fusion of your jaw and the implant post takes a few months.
When your implant has fully integrated your next visit with the doctor will be the placement of an abutment, a small connector that forms the base for your new replacement tooth. In the same visit or the next, your new teeth will be attached to your abutments.
-
A filling treatment takes one visit to complete.
Fillings are utilized to “fill” an area that is removed due to decay (a cavity). They’re also used to repair cracked or broken tooth.
During your visit, the doctor will drill away the decayed portion of the tooth. After the area is cleared, filling material is injected inside and cured by a special bonding light to ensure the material hardens. Once the material is cured, your filling is complete.
